Overview

About the PDO Mono Thread

The Mono Thread is a smooth, classic, unmodified non-fixing monofilament — the foundational thread for filling in and smoothing fine wrinkles. By placing fine PDO strands in the skin it improves skin microrelief and increases skin density, addressing the first signs of gravitational ptosis and fine-wrinkle aging. As a PDO thread, it stimulates neocollagenesis as the material is absorbed, refreshing skin quality across the face, neck, décolleté and body.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the PDO Mono Thread?

The basic smooth monofilament PDO thread for filling in and smoothing fine wrinkles, improving skin microrelief and density, supplied 20ea per pack.

What does a mono thread do?

It places fine PDO strands in the skin to improve microrelief and increase skin density, addressing early fine wrinkles and the first signs of ptosis.

How is it different from a Screw thread?

The Mono is a smooth monofilament for fine-wrinkle smoothing and density; the Screw thread adds a spiral form for more volume and tension.

Where can it be used?

The face, neck, décolleté and body; a U-type Cannula option suits the eye area.

How long does the effect last?

As a PDO thread, the material is absorbed over about 6 months while new collagen helps maintain the result; duration varies by individual.

Is it FDA approved?

NEO Thread is CE Class III and KFDA certified. The PDO raw material is FDA-classified as a Class II medical-device material — a material classification, not product approval.

Who should perform the procedure?

A trained, licensed practitioner; thread lifting is a medical procedure.
