What it is
Bienox 100U is a Korean botulinum toxin type A injection manufactured by BNC Korea using vacuum-drying production technology. Each vial contains 100 units of purified Clostridium botulinum toxin type A. Unlike conventional freeze-drying which requires substantial bulk excipients to maintain powder structure, vacuum-drying dries the toxin under reduced pressure with minimal additives — producing a thin, almost invisible film at the vial bottom rather than a visible powder cake.
What makes it distinctive
Bienox’s defining feature is vacuum-drying technology — shared with only a few products on the global market (most prominently Daewoong’s Nabota). Compared to freeze-dried products, vacuum-drying preserves higher molecular integrity, requires fewer stabilizing excipients, and creates weaker negative pressure inside the vial — reducing protein denaturation during reconstitution. How vacuum-drying differs from freeze-drying
