What it is

Lexyfill 60cc is an H+L Hybrid Cross-linked HA body filler at 24mg/cc — combining high molecular weight and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid in a biphasic gel. HYLACROSS™ cross-linking technology places small HA molecules between the large ones, creating higher moisture retention and elasticity than single-weight formulas. 14-time purification removes residual BDDE, endotoxin, and protein to minimize side effects. No saline mixing required — the gel is withdrawn directly from the vial with the HA structure intact, preventing the volume loss and deformation that saline-mixed body fillers experience.

H+L Hybrid structure and 14-time purification

Conventional body fillers use only large HA molecules, requiring high BDDE amounts for cross-linking — creating a hard gel that needs saline mixing to become injectable. Saline breaks the cross-linked structure, increasing residual BDDE and side effect risk. Lexyfill’s H+L Hybrid places small HA molecules in the gaps between large ones, achieving cross-linking with minimal BDDE. The result: a gel with optimal viscosity (G’ 100–250 Pa) and low injection force (20 N) that draws directly from the vial without saline. The 14-time purification process removes three types of contaminants — residual BDDE, endotoxin, and protein — in repeated cycles until levels are undetectable.

FAQ

What is H+L Hybrid HA?

Lexyfill combines High molecular weight HA (structural backbone) with Low molecular weight HA (fills interstitial spaces). The small molecules between the large ones create a denser, more elastic matrix with higher moisture retention — and require less BDDE for cross-linking, reducing side effect risk.

Why doesn’t Lexyfill need saline mixing?

Most body fillers are too stiff to withdraw from the vial, requiring saline to loosen the gel. Saline breaks the HA cross-linking structure, increasing free BDDE and causing volume loss over time. Lexyfill’s H+L Hybrid structure has optimal viscosity at 24mg/cc — it draws directly from the vial with a syringe, keeping the structure intact.

What does 14-time purification mean?

The manufacturing process repeats the purification cycle 14 times, targeting three contaminants: residual BDDE (cross-linker), endotoxin, and protein. Each cycle reduces contaminant levels further. By the 14th cycle, all three are at undetectable levels. This is significantly more thorough than the 3–4 stage purification used by most body fillers.

How does 24mg/cc compare to other body fillers?

Lexyfill’s 24mg/cc matches the highest concentration tier in the body filler category (alongside SedyFill 24mg/ml and Wanna Fill 24mg/ml). The key difference is the H+L Hybrid structure — same concentration, but the dual molecular weight creates different gel behavior: smoother tissue integration and lower injection force (20 N) than single-weight formulas at the same concentration.

What are the G’ and injection force specifications?

Storage Modulus G’ is 100–250 Pa — indicating the gel’s elastic resistance. Injection Force is 20 N — the pressure needed to push the gel through the cannula. These values indicate a moderately firm gel that provides structural support while remaining injectable through standard body filler cannulas without excessive pressure.

What cannula sizes are recommended?

Breast augmentation: 14G 90mm. Upper breast: 20G 70mm. Buttock augmentation: 18G 70mm or 90mm. These are manufacturer recommendations — practitioners should select based on their technique and patient anatomy.

How does Lexyfill compare to Tesoro at 20mg/ml?

Different concentration tiers. Lexyfill at 24mg/cc provides higher density and structural support with the H+L Hybrid advantage. Tesoro at 20mg/ml uses DCL dual cross-linking and includes 0.3% lidocaine for procedural comfort. Choose Lexyfill for structural density and tissue integration; Tesoro for lidocaine comfort at a lower concentration.

Are there clinical studies?

The manufacturer references clinical trials published in Dermatol Ther 2022 covering breast and buttock augmentation procedures with before/after documentation. Non-clinical viscosity and elasticity tests show shape retention over 24 hours.

Safety

Product-specific: No saline mixing — gel structure remains intact during injection. 14-time purified for minimal BDDE/endotoxin/protein residue. No lidocaine — separate local anesthesia required.

Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid; active skin infection at injection site; pregnancy and breastfeeding; autoimmune connective tissue diseases; concurrent anticoagulant therapy (consult physician). Common side effects: injection-site swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness (resolving within days). Rare: nodule formation, asymmetry, infection. Seek immediate attention for signs of vascular occlusion.

Aftercare: apply ice packs 15–20 min several times daily, avoid pressure on treated area for 24 hours, avoid strenuous activity/alcohol/hot baths for 48 hours. Licensed medical professionals only.
